THE STORY SO FAR

Architecture is... was created to celebrate Bath as a City with a rich architectural past, but with the potential of an even richer future.  A group of individuals, from various backgrounds and interests but all passionate about this city, has taken up the challenge to start a conversation, enabling everyone to explore what the City and its buildings and spaces means for them now and into the future.

In 2017 the group ran the Festival of Future Cities which saw three days of talks, debates, workshops, displays and family run events around the theme of contemporary intervention within the city. In September of this year the festival of the Therapeutic City will be held which will ask how Bath can develop its identity as the original ‘wellbeing city’ and what this, and being a modern spa town, means today, in terms of its physical, economic and cultural environment.

It is our hope that this platform will allow others to share their ideas and interests and in turn get involved in those of others. So join in, go to a talk, take a tour and join the conversation.
